CROOK COUNTY FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES SEARCH FOR FIRST FULL-TIME EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Current Executive Director is set to retire in June

The Crook County Foundation’s Board President, Steve Waring, announced today that the Foundation has launched a search for its first full-time Executive Director. “After 27 years of serving Crook County, we’ve finally grown to the point that we are ready to sustain a full-time leader. Our programs continue to expand, and our board recognizes that it’s time to make that investment in our future and our community.” He added that Rebekah Lambert, who has served in the role since March 2022, will be retiring in June. “Rebekah has brought a tremendous amount to the Foundation, and we’ll miss her. At the same time, we’re excited for our next leader and what that person will bring to us, especially as a full-time hire.”

The Foundation is currently accepting applications and will begin its initial screening of candidates in late March. Waring commented that the board would like to make its decision and have the new hire in place before Lambert’s retirement to ensure a smooth transition.
