Before Doris Cutright passed away on May 8, 2011 at the age of 83, she established a trust to help provide Crook County residents the same opportunity she had – to attend college or trade school to further their education and increase their ability to pursue successful careers in the fields of their choosing. The Doris Cutright Scholarship is $2,500 awarded for one year.
Applicants must be residents of Crook County and lived in Crook County at least one year immediately prior to applying for the scholarship.
Scholarship recipients must attend a full academic year (three quarters or two semesters) and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per term/semester (full-time) or at least 6 credit hours per term/semester (or as defined by the school) for part-time students.
Scholarships may be used for any accredited college, university, or trade school, or online degree program. 2014 scholarships are due by August 22th, 2014, so apply now by clinking on the link to the fillable PDF application below!
