Unveiling of Largest Gift To Date

The Crook County Foundation unveiled their largest scholarship contribution in its history on October 10, 2012 at the Bowman Museum.  $522,220 from Doris Cutright’s estate was gifted to establish an endowment scholarship fund that will keep generating scholarships for Crook County residents into perpetuity.  The Foundation, honored to be selected as the stewards for such a large contribution, have invested the gift with the Oregon Community Foundation and anticipate it generating about $25,000 in scholarships per year.
